2019 15U Accomplishments

  • 42-2-1 overall record

  • Teo Banks from this team was drafted by the Chicago Cubs! Also Eduardo Rivera from our 2020 16U team was drafted by the Oakland Athletics!

  • Won a 16U Pastime tournament with 64 teams in it - with a 15U team!

  • Won the 15U Pastime National Championship which had 100 teams in it!

  • Started out the season with nineteen straight wins before tying a game.

  • Run differential for the season was +302.

  • Went undefeated the entire summer against teams from Michigan.

  • Won more games than any other team from Michigan at the Perfect Game 15U WWBA National Championship, the largest 15U tournament in the country (we won six - next highest was two).

  • As far as we know (this could be wrong), won more games than any other 15U team in Michigan did this summer.

  • Had coaches from the University of Michigan, University of Maryland, Georgia Tech, University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, University of Alabama, University of Texas, etc., attend our games.

  • As a team, our pitching staff only allowed one home run in 45 games.

  • Our team had 408 hits in 45 games. Our pitching staff in comparison only allowed 137 hits the entire season (over 45 games).

  • Pitching staff had 315 strikeouts in 247.1 innings pitched (over one per inning for the entire season).

  • As a team, we hit twelve home runs.

  • Gained a combined 11-0 in 16U tournaments with a 15U team.

  • Defeated teams from the following states and provinces.: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Texas, California, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and Ontario.

  • 23 of our 42 victories were by mercy.

  • Scored 10+ runs 23 times.

  • Scored 8+ runs 28 times.

  • 12 shutouts as a pitching staff.

  • Allowed only 81 runs total in 45 games, less than two per game.

  • 24 times allowed one run or fewer.

  • 31 times allowed two runs or less.

  • Won or were co-champions in six of eight tournaments we played in.

  • Used Twitter, Instagram, e-mails, and Gamechanger to get exposure for our players.

  • Pitching staff threw at least six no-hitters this summer.

  • Had a +50 run differential in pool play at the 15U Perfect Game WWBA National Championship, which I believe ranked us in the top ten out of 312 teams there.

  • Four pitchers threw 89 MPH or harder at the 15U Perfect Game WWBA National Championship!
